The Charity Committee is student led. Each year students choose two charities to raise funds for; one international and one local. Throughout the year they organise whole school events to raise money for their chosen organisations. Successful recent events have included a race night, a fashion show and our own St Bees has Talent contest.
The students have a lot of fun organising these events and in the process really develop their teamwork, management and marketing skills, as well as raising money for excellent causes. The committee also coordinates the schools input into nation wide events such as Children in Need and Comic Relief where everybody is encouraged to take part.
