We are extremely proud of the facilities at St. Bees School and trust that our students and visitors will admire, enjoy and develop their game through our high class 9 hole links Golf Course and State of the art Golf Studio (located at the heart of the School)
The training and practice facilities, within what we consider a world class academy, have been designed to ensure our student's development is stimulating, enjoyable and productive.
Our state of the art golf studio is equipped with some of the latest video technology that enables a student's technique to be analysed and honed.
Within the studio an artificial putting green and a designated chipping area enable our students to train all aspects of their game, using the 'C Swing' software installed.
Within walking distance, the school has its own 9 hole golf course that provides an excellent playing ground for our students every day of the year.
Measuring 5994 yards, lining the stunning shores of the Western Coast of the English Lake District, the golf course is staffed by full time qualified greenkeepers who ensure the high standards are maintained. Within the grounds of the golf course is a practice putting green, an extensive short game area and a 150 yard practice ground with a selection of target greens within the outfield.
St Bees Golf Club has a considerable number of members, whilst creating an opportunity for our students to join and participate in regular golf club competitions. Externally to the school several golf facilities provide additional provision that is beneficial and desirable to our academy and students.
