Away Days

A series of Away Days have been arranged on local courses around the St. Bees area which will provide pupils with the experience of playing on different types of courses. Lunch will be provided and pupils will receive professional tuition as they play. A pick up service is available if required. The dates are;
Tuesday 1st June: Cockermouth Golf Club
Wednesday 2nd June: Eskdale Golf Club
Tuesday 27th July: Cockermouth Golf Club

The St. Bees Golf Order of Merit will be an annual event for ALL students to enter. The order of merit will crown the best golfer at both senior level (Fifth and Sixth Forms) and junior level (First to Fourth Form) each year. Each order of merit winner and runner up will receive personal awards. The event will consist of 5 individual events held on Friday evenings at 4:30pm at St. Bees School Golf Course.
Each individual event will be played over 9 holes with gross and net prizes to be won.
To qualify for the 'St. Bees Order of Merit' each participant must have played in a minimum of 3 individual events. Their 3 best gross scores will be used to calculate an overall average. The leading junior and senior will be crowned 'Order of Merit' winners.
