St. Bees School would like to wish Stuart Lancaster and the England Rugby Union team the very best of luck in the forthcoming Six Nations competition playing their first match against Scotland on Saturday. Stuart is a former boarding pupil from St. Bees and is the Interim Head Coach for the tournament. Recently Stuart commented that, ‘Without doubt my time at St. Bees had a huge influence on me and definitely helped me with many skills that hopefully will stand me in good stead over the next few months.’ This is a huge honour for both the School and Cumbria and we are very proud of his achievements.
