SAT Tests

The SAT is the USA's most widely used admissions tests for colleges and universities. It tests a students' basic knowledge of subjects they have learned in the classroom - reading, writing, and mathematics - in addition to how a student thinks, solves problems, and communicates. Some colleges specify that a student should sit the SAT Subject tests instead of the SAT, in order to make admissions decisions, and to advise students about course selection.

St Bees School is now an official SAT test centre, one of only 15 in England. Entries for the SAT and SAT Subject Tests, and for further information, please visit the College Board website www.collegeboard.com

College Board have implemented new security measures from September 2012. Candidates are no longer permitted to change their test centre or test date, and standby candidates are also not permitted. This means anyone wanting to test at St Bees School who are not registered, will not be admitted.
From March 2013 candidates are required to upload a photograph to their Admission Ticket. This photograph will be checked against candidate photo-ID and the person presenting the ID during check-in.

Candidate checklist:-
