St. Bees is very much a family school, caring and geared to meet the needs of each individual child. Across the school there is a culture of kindness, with pupils and staff supporting each other. At St. Bees everyone is important and there is a place for everyone. We pride ourselves on the fact that we excel in pastoral care as a happy child is our main priority.
We make no distinction between Day and Boarding pupils and each pupil is assigned to a house. Day pupils are encouraged to spend time on Houses and to become part of the boarding community. Each pupil will be assigned a tutor who will monitor their progress both academically and socially.
