Better school community, common interest, staff support, new friends, school connection, everyone invited, ...these are some of the key aims and benefits of the St. Bees School Family Association.
This group exists for all parents and friends of the St. Bees School. It is never too
late to join in and never an expectation of service. There is a core of parents and teachers currently attending meetings whenever their schedules permit and helping when available. However, more parents are urged to drop in for a meeting or event to get to know other parents and families. Pupils, parents and staff all benefit when parents are actively involved in the workings of a school.
The purpose of the group is twofold:
1) to provide social opportunities for parents, families, and friends of the school; for them to get to know one another better thus promoting the strength of the school community
2) The group supports and enhances existing school events. Although the group is a not for profit organization, if monies are earned through events, they will be used to purchase 'extras' for the school which benefit the pupils.
New ideas are needed and encouraged by all who attend!
Meetings and events are printed in the term calendar for your notice.
