St. Bees School has a Sixth Form of around 100 students. During their time in the Sixth Form, it is important that pupils not only develop the independent learning skills necessary for academic success at this level, but that they also grow into confident well-informed young people ready to step into the adult world.

Sixth Formers have their own centre which is located in the heart of the School. It accommodates a large social and recreational area served by a kitchen, a study resource centre with computer access points to the school network and individual secure storage for books and files.

The Centre is run by an elected committee of both Upper and Lower Sixth Form students and is overseen by a member of the academic staff.
