Tennis is the major summer sport for all girls at St Bees and the excellent tennis facilities allows all pupils to have the opportunity to become involved in tennis from Easter to October.
Girls compete against local teams and also against independent schools further afield. The senior tennis team play weekly fixtures in the West Cumbria Ladies League, various mixed matches and compete against the staff in the annual Davis/Gilmour Cup.
